With all of the Week 3 action wrapped up it’s time to pick a Players of the Week. This week in order to avoid splitting the votes we’ve grouped three pairs of teammates together.
- Grant Cochran and Dominick Collins (Princeton) – Cochran and Collins were both electric in Princeton’s 55-30 win over Oak Hill. Cochran completed 19 of his 23 passing attempts for 269 yards and three touchdowns. One of those touchdowns went to sophomore receiver Dominick Collins who caught a 41-yard score on a fake screen. Collins also returned the opening kick 89 yards for a touchdown.

- Ty Nickell and Cole Vandall (Greenbrier West) – Greenbrier West quarterback Cole Vandall did it all Friday in a 32-0 win over Pocahontas County. He ran for 63 yards and a touchdown, threw for 80 yards and another score and returned an interception 45 yards for his final score of the evening. His teammate Ty Nickell carried the ball 22 times for 155 yards.
- Ayden Simms and Josh Dickerson (Midland Trail) – A week after Ayden Simms turned all three of his touches on offense into touchdowns and intercepted two passes he came back down to earth. Only slightly though. He again turned three touches into touchdowns, but intercepted just one pass this week. In a 33-0 win over Meadow Bridge he ran once for 14-yard and touchdown, catching two passes for 67 yards and two more scores. The guy throwing to him wasn’t too bad either. Trail quarterback Josh Dickerson completed seven of his nine passing attempts for 147 yard and three touchdowns.
