With all of the Week 4 action wrapped up it’s time to pick a Player of the Week.
- Atticus Goodson (Independence) – Goodson had the best rushing performance of his career, carrying the rock 26 times for 326 yards and five touchdowns as the Patriots throttled Shady Spring 50-17.
- Tony Bailey (Mount View) – Tony Bailey was electric with the ball in his hands in Mount View’s 28-14 win over Summers County. Bailey caught six passes for 85 yards and ran the ball four times for 65 yards and two touchdowns.
- Ryan Simms (Liberty) – Simms scored three touchdowns and intercepted a pass as Liberty handed Logan its first loss of the season Friday night.
- Ty Nickell (Greenbrier West) – Nickell ran the ball just eight times but did so effectively, picking up 143 yards on the ground and scoring two touchdowns in a 58-6 win over Webster County.
- Ian Cline (Greenbrier East) – The Spartans’ workhorse ran the ball 19 times for 197 yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 33 yards. Cline also ran in a two-point conversion attempt.
