BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Community members and members of the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce braved the rain on Wednesday to join Central Pup grooming for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating five years in business for the local establishment.
Ashleigh, owner and groomer at Central Pup, first developed a passion for animals through working with shelters and working in local rescue. From there, she started Central Pup in 2019, turning her love for animals into a career that has now been going strong for five years.
The name of the establishment makes reference to the classic sitcom Friends, the characters of which could often be seen relaxing at the Central Perk coffee shop. Inside, the former Cheap Thrills Records location welcomes guests to a unique lobby area featuring couches, a coffee maker, and of course, Friends memorabilia.
Located near CVS and Rent-A-Center on Robert C. Byrd Drive, Central Pup brings over 30 combined years of grooming experience to the Raleigh County area, providing a relaxed environment for clients and their beloved pets.
