FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The public is invited to attend the Just for Kids Champions of Children: Mountains of Courage on April 24, 2026, an event dedicated to recognizing individuals and organizations that uplift and protect children in local communities.
The event will be held at Smokey’s on the Gorge at Adventures on the Gorge, with a cocktail hour beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Organizers say the annual gathering brings together community members, leaders and advocates to honor those whose work makes a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families across the region.
While formal dress is encouraged, attendees are welcome to dress comfortably.

Organizers say the honorees demonstrate courage, compassion and dedication to improving the well-being of children.
