BOONE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Chapmanville man is facing charges after he was allegedly Snapchatting a minor for sex.
According to WV State Police, on November 21, 2024, they received a complaint from a minor who had been receiving obscene materials from a man named Mark Justin Mendez.
Mendez sent the minor sexually explicit content through Snapchat. He said, “Young boys don’t know how to take care of things.” The man sent his face and his entire nude body to the victim.
Mendez is charged with Distributing Obscene Matters to a Minor and Use of Obscene Matter with Intent to Seduce a Minor. He is being held in Southwestern Regional Jail under a 100,000-dollar bond.
