MERCER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — Love will be in the air at the Mercer County Courthouse Annex this February as Chief Judge Adam B. Wolfe of the Twelfth Family Judicial Court hosts special Valentine’s Day–themed wedding ceremonies.
Judge Wolfe will perform weddings on February 9 and February 13, 2026, in his courtroom located at the Mercer County Courthouse Annex. The events are designed to give couples a festive and meaningful way to celebrate their commitment just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Couples interested in being married by Judge Wolfe are encouraged to make an appointment by contacting his office at 304-487-8426. While walk-ins may be accommodated, appointments are recommended to ensure availability. Light refreshments will be served during the wedding days.
Marriage licenses are required for all ceremonies and can be obtained through the Mercer County Clerk’s Office, led by Clerk Verlin Moye. For information on obtaining a marriage license, couples should call 304-487-8338.
Court officials say the Valentine’s-themed weddings offer a convenient and celebratory option for couples looking to tie the knot in a courthouse setting with a seasonal touch.
