The Lootpress Player of the Week Award sponsored by Mid-State Ford, Little General, and The Law Offices of Brandon Steele, has returned for the second year.
Below are the candidates for the seventh week of the prep baseball season. Voting will close Friday, May 12 at 11:59 P.M. The fan vote will be used in the event of a tie. There are also changes to the Player of the Week voting pertaining to the top overall vote getter that you can read about here.
If the the top vote getter has already won a community choice poll, the next leading vote getter who has not won will be named that week’s community choice winner.

- Ethan Holliday, Greenbrier West – Holliday batted .500 with a team-high five hits for the Cavaliers. He also drove in a trio of runs.
- Brayden Kiblinger, Independence – Kiblinger batted .571 with four hits and three RBIS for the Patriots during a 2-0 week.
- Nathan Riffe, PikeView – Riffe batted .357, drove in three runs and scored six for the Panthers in the final week of the regular season.
- Colten Tate, Shady Spring – Tate hit .500 with three hits in two games, adding six RBIs for the Tigers.
- Brandan Isaac, Summers County – Isaac batted .500 with an on base percentage of .667 that was aided by six walks. He added six RBIs and nine stolen bases in a 3-1 week for the Bobcats.
- Shawn Mosley, Wyoming East – Mosley led the Warriors with a .500 batting average while collecting five RBIs and scoring five runs in a 3-0 week for the Warriors.
