CLARKSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Clarksburg has recently sworn in a new officer but says they are currently looking to hire more officers.
According to the City of Clarksburg, the Clarksburg Police Department has just welcomed its newest recruit, Jaron Morris. Jaron will attend training at the West Virginia Police Academy before becoming a regular duty officer.

The starting pay for a probationary Police Officer is $49,062. Â After the one (1) year probation period, Police Officers will receive an annual salary of $53,153.
