OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – All citizens residing in the municipal limits of the City of Oak Hill who have received substantial damage in the past due to flooding are encouraged to attend an upcoming Hazard Mitigation Meeting.
The meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. on October 26, 2023, at City Hall, located at 100 Kelly Avenue in Oak Hill.
State representatives of the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) will be in attendance to explain the program and eligibility for inclusion in the City of Oak Hill HMGP application.
City officials say that if you are interested in participating in a State/FEMA buyout program, it is important for you to attend.
The deadline for submitting applications to the City of Oak Hill is 5 p.m. on November 9, 2023.
