BLACKSVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Class A No. 8 Clay-Battelle Cee Bees defended their home field Friday night, handing the No. 5 Meadow Bridge Wildcats their first loss of the season with a 54-12 victory.
Clay-Battelle controlled the game from start to finish, using a balanced attack to overwhelm Meadow Bridge on both sides of the ball. The win lifts the Cee Bees to 4-1 on the year and adds another statement victory to their growing résumé.

Meadow Bridge, which had rolled to a 4-0 start, struggled to find offensive rhythm against the Clay-Battelle defense.
The loss drops the Wildcats to 4-1 on the season. They’ll look to bounce back next Friday when they travel to take on Bland County, Va. Meanwhile, Clay-Battelle will try to keep momentum rolling as they head to Richwood for their next matchup.
