WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – Congressman Riley M. Moore announced that he and his team have officially recovered over $3 million for West Virginians since he took office on January 3, 2025.
The update comes just over a month after Moore reported saving constituents more than $2 million.
The Congressman’s casework team, based in district offices in Morgantown and Martinsburg, assists residents who encounter difficulties with federal agencies.
Staff members are trained to navigate the federal bureaucracy and provide support to constituents.
Highlights of the funding recovered include:
- More than $1.8 million from the Internal Revenue Service
- Over $1 million from the U.S. Department of Agriculture
- More than $348,000 from the Social Security Administration
- Over $31,000 from the Department of Veterans Affairs
- More than $23,000 from the Department of Defense
- More than $20,900 from the Department of the Army
- Over $18,000 from the Bureau of Prisons
“My team and I are proud to announce that we have officially recovered more than $3 million for West Virginians,” Moore said.
“I am so proud of the work that we are doing, and am thrilled to report such a large sum returned to the hardworking people of West Virginia just eight months into my term.
