LYNCO, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Deputies with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Ohio residents following a traffic stop in the Lynco area that led to the discovery of cash and illegal drugs.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies stopped a vehicle around 4:15 p.m. Saturday after observing the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.

Deputies identified the driver as 19-year-old Lucas Robinson of Akron, Ohio. While speaking with Robinson, deputies reported smelling marijuana, which prompted a search of the vehicle.
A passenger, identified as 19-year-old Gibrauna Dowdell, also of Akron, was removed from the vehicle before the search began.
Deputies said they recovered approximately $3,632 in cash, a pill bottle containing crushed pills identified as Percocet (oxycodone), and a baggie of fine powder.
The powder later tested positive for fentanyl with an estimated weight of 14 grams.
Both Robinson and Dowdell were arrested and charged with felony possession with intent to deliver and drug conspiracy.
The substances seized in the incident are being sent to the West Virginia State Police Crime Lab for further analysis.
Robinson remains at Southern Regional Jail on a $100,000 cash-only bond and Dowdell remains on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
