LOGAN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Crews responded to a plane crash in southern West Virginia this evening.
According to the City of Logan Fire Department (LFD), today at 4:30 PM the LFD was dispatched to reports of a plane crash at the Logan County Airport.
Crews responded with one Engine Company, one Rescue Company, and one Squad Company.
While en route, crews were relayed information that the plane was off the end of the runway and located in a wooded area.
Upon arrival, crews were able to make it to the crash site and found that all passengers were out of the plane and only suffered minor injuries.
Crews remained on the scene until West Virginia State Police (WVSP) arrived and began an investigation.
All crews are clear at this time.
