WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – On Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 7:50 am, Corporal George Jones was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash with injuries and a death on Interstate 79 at approximately the 81-mile marker.
A Semi-truck and SUV were involved in the crash. The deceased has been identified as 35 year old, Donte Pierre Arthur Lewis Mapp Jr. of Eastman Georgia. The deceased was the driver of the SUV.
Two other males occupants were transported from the SUV to Braxton Memorial with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Semi was also transported to Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
This investigation remains active and ongoing.
