WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – On Tuesday, October 19, 2021, Sgt. S. R. Curran was notified of multiple incidents which occurred at the North Central Regional Jail resulting in the death of one inmate and the hospitalization of one inmate.
The deceased has been identified as Anthony Richard Jones, age 35 of Clarksburg, West Virginia. The seriously wounded inmate has been identified as William Bolton Adams III, age 50 of Ritchie County West Virginia. These two incidents are believed to involve several inmates.
A second death also occurred at the jail on this same date. Jacqueline Veronique Pyles, age 24 of Farmington, West Virginia was found deceased. At this time the second death is believed to have been a self-inflicted and completely unrelated to the other two incidents.
No fowl play is suspected in the second death.
At this time all three incidents are considered active and ongoing investigations.
