OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Delegate Elliott Pritt (R-Fayette) presented a check to the Oak Hill Police Department Monday evening for a new K9 insert.
Pritt made the presentation at Oak Hill’s monthly city council meeting where he presented the check to Oak Hill Police Chief Mike Whisman and Mayor Charles Briscoe.
“I was proud to present an Economic Development Grant to the Oak Hill Police Department,” Pritt said. “This further enhances our city’s ability to fight against our continuing drug epidemic.”
The grant was in the amount of $3,000 and will cover the cost of a new K9 insert for one of Oak Hill’s police cruisers.
“I am proud to stand behind the men and women who answer the call for us,” Pritt explained. “They deal with absolute evil every single day, and I am thankful for their service to our community.”
