ANSTED, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Dixie’s Drive-In located in Ansted has announced that it will be hosting a scholarship fundraiser and car show to wrap up the 2023 season.
Dixie’s says that all proceeds made from sales on September 2-4 will go to the Midland Trail Community Center in support of the Philip Dickerson and Diane Blume scholarship funds.
To celebrate the end of the season, Dixie’s will also hold its second car show of the year on Sunday, 3 Sept from 12 PM to 3 PM.
The theme for this car show is “MOPAR Madness”. If you have an old or new Dodge or Plymouth that you would like to show off, you are asked to swing by Dixie’s on September 3rd.
There will be cash prizes for the top 3 best overall cars or trucks – $100 for first place, $50 for 2nd, and $25 for 3rd. Just swing by the WV Tent and register your vehicle. There is no cost to register. All registered vehicles will also be automatically entered for a $100 cash prize drawing.
The only requirement is that your car or truck must be a Dodge or Plymouth – any year. Dixie’s says they are hoping to see some Challengers, Chargers, Barracudas, Roadrunners, GTXs, Dusters, or maybe even a Superbird or Daytona.
The team at Dixie’s encourages everyone to come on out and have some great food, and great fun, and contribute to a great cause.
Dixie’s Drive-In is located at 20139 Midland Trail, Ansted, WV 25812.
