GLEN DANIEL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Liberty Raiders struggled in their home opener Friday night, falling 41-6 to the Doddridge County Bulldogs.
Doddridge County (1-0) jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. The Bulldogs’ offense consistently moved the chains, while their defense kept Liberty (0-1) out of rhythm for most of the night.

The Raiders managed to avoid the shutout by putting six points on the board.
With the loss, Liberty begins the season at 0-1 and will look to rebound next Friday when they host the PikeView Panthers. Doddridge County, meanwhile, will try to build on its strong start as it welcomes Ritchie County in Week 2.
