MONTGOMERY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Fayette County Humane Society is searching for the owners of a black-and-white dog named Lucifer after he was severely injured in a car accident near Bridge Valley College on Monday night.
According to the Fayette County Humane Society, an animal control officer responded to the scene and rushed the injured dog to Fayette Vet for emergency care.
The dog sustained serious injuries and remains in critical condition.
Fortunately, Lucifer was equipped with a microchip, but attempts to contact his registered owners have been unsuccessful as the phone numbers on file are inactive.
The chip identifies the dog’s owners as Amber and Josh.
The Humane Society is urging anyone who knows Amber and Josh or recognizes Lucifer to contact them immediately to help reunite the dog with his family.
