WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – Dollar General stores across West Virginia are pulling certain coffee products from their shelves after a federal recall warned they may contain glass.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says Dollar General Corporation is recalling three lots of its eight-ounce Clover Valley® Instant Coffee, sold exclusively in the chain’s stores between July 9 and July 21, 2025.

The coffee was available in every state except Hawaii and Alaska.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported, but the FDA urges customers to check their packages for the following details:
- UPC: 876941004069
- Lot Numbers: L-5163 (Best By 12/13/2026), L-5164 (Best By 12/13/2026), L-5165 (Best By 12/14/2026)
Lot and best-by date information can be found around the neck of the jar. Customers are advised to throw away the product and contact Dollar General for a full refund.
