NASHVILLE, TN (LOOTPRESS) – Country music legend Dolly Parton is mourning the loss of her husband, Carl Dean, who passed away at the age of 82.
In a heartfelt statement shared late Monday (March 3), Parton reflected on their decades-long love and life together.
“Carl and I spent many wonderful years together. Words can’t do justice for the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy.”
Dean will be laid to rest in a private memorial service attended only by immediate family. He is survived by his siblings, Sandra and Donnie.
Parton and both families have requested privacy during this difficult time.
