MARTINSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One West Virginia man has been arrested after a call regarding a domestic situation resulted in the discovery and confiscation of drugs, ammunition, and multiple firearms.
According to the Martinsburg Police Department, on April 14th, 2023, MPD Officers responded to North Centre Street for a report of a domestic situation.
After a thorough investigation and the execution of a search warrant; officers located 6 firearms, ammunition, 37 suspected fentanyl capsules, 1 gram of meth, 1 gram of crack cocaine, approximately 18 grams of marijuana and other miscellaneous pills, police say.
Mark Wayne Carter was charged with Domestic Battery, Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, and Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm. He is currently at Eastern Regional Jail on a $154,500 bond.
