GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – UPDATE: The roadway has reopened.

A portion of U.S. Route 60 is closed Saturday afternoon due to a downed tree.
According to Greenbrier County Homeland Security & Emergency Management, the roadway is closed from Sewell Valley Baptist Church to the intersection of Crag Road.
The traffic advisory was issued at 3:19 p.m. Saturday. Officials did not provide an estimated time for the roadway to reopen.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternate route until the tree is removed and the road is deemed safe for travel.
