BECKLEY, W.V. (LOOTPRESS) – The driver involved in a fatal ATV accident has received the maximum sentence.
Adam Donell was arrested for a DUI fatality after he caused a head-on collision on Sullivan Road in Beaver in April of 2019.
Raleigh County Prosecuting Attorney Benjamin Hatfield said Prosecuting Attorney Tom MacAulay successfully argued for the maximum sentence Thursday morning in Judge Dimlich’s courtroom.
Donell received an indeterminate sentence of three to 15 years. He is currently in Division of Corrections (DOC) custody.
