It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Earldine Anne Workman Robinson, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, who left us peacefully on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
Born on February 3, 1951, in Lansing, West Virginia, Earldine devoted her life to spending time with loved ones, her long and distinguished career as a hairdresser, and her countless hours of volunteer work with the local 4-H program and UDC. She was an animal lover, skilled gardener, adventurous traveler, and she danced to the beat of her own drum. Her legacy is one of love, joy, and perseverance. Despite her years of battling illness, her spirit never waned. Her friends and family will miss her dearly but all take comfort in knowing that her spirit will live on through the countless lives she touched.
Earldine was preceded in death by her parents, James and Geraldine Workman. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Lee (Karen) Strunk and Carri Strunk; grandchildren, Jaxen Strunk, Katie (John) Fendley, Jerry Strunk, Jonathan Strunk; great-grandchild, Eliza Fendley; siblings, Kathi (Darrell) Pridemore, James Wallace Workman III (Appleseed), Laura (John) Campbell; dear friend, Mike Atkins; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 21st at 2 PM at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ansted, WV. Family and friends are invited to gather at 1 PM to share stories and celebrate the remarkable life of Earldine Anne Robinson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bowers Hospice House or the Fayette County 4-H program.
