PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Eastern Vault, a concrete company in Princeton, has permanently ceased operations.
LOOTPRESS has obtained a letter from Evercast sent to Eastern Vault employees via email stating that the company was immediately ceasing operations as of Sunday, March 10, 2024.
The email also served as the termination notice.
Sources tell LOOTPRESS that nearly 100 employees were terminated on Sunday.
The letter stated that the company, Evercast, has been talking with its main lender about its finances, and as part of those talks, they had to look for someone else to buy the company.
Another company, Concrete Pipe & Product (CP&P), has agreed to buy some parts of the company, but not all of it.
Those locations in the agreement include Denver, NC, Concord, NC, and Winchester, VA.
The Princeton location along with locations in South Carolina and Florida were left out of the agreement, resulting in the closure of the business.
Employees were officially terminated on Sunday and will retrieve their belongings today, Monday, March 11, 2024.
