CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Elgine McArdle, of Wheeling, was elected as the new Chair of the West Virginia Republican Party at its Summer meeting in Charleston. Elected to a 4 year term, Mrs. McArdle prevailed by winning 80 to 27 over her challenger.
“I am so blessed and honored to be elected as the Chair of the West Virginia Republican Party,” McArdle said. “The Republican Party in West Virginia is the governing party. More West Virginians are registered as Republicans than Democrats. Our team is energized and excited. We will work tirelessly to reelect our supermajorities in 2022 and defeat Joe Manchin in 2024.”
