RICHLANDS, VA (LOOTPRESS) – The Richlands Police Department is investigating a threat made to Richlands Middle School.
According to the police department, this threat was not directly from an individual. However, for investigative purposes, a male juvenile was named by students as a possible suspect. The Richlands Police Department has questioned both the student and his family, and there has been no evidence found to suggest this juvenile made any threat.
The Richlands Police Department will have extra officers at the Richlands Middle School and Richlands school complex on Monday as a precautionary measure.
