BECKLEY, W.V. (LOOTPRESS) – The Beckley Housing Authority has partnered with the United States Department of Agriculture and Save the Children to host another Farmers to Family Food Box Pickup on Friday, April 23, 2021.
According to the event’s flyer, the pickup will take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Linda K Epling Stadium located at 200 Stadium Drive in Beckley.
There are no income requirements for the drive-up distribution, meaning anyone in the Beckley area is welcome to take part.
Those who attend will receive a free, large food distribution box filled with produce, as well as meat and dairy products for children and families.
All individuals are asked to remain in their vehicles and be mindful of all COVID-19 health and safety practices while volunteers load the boxes into the trunk of the vehicle.
The Beckley Housing Authority states that there could be last-minute changes to the delivery schedule, which are out of their control. Any changes will be shared as quickly as possible from the Authority’s Facebook page.
