MABEN, WV (LOOTPRESS)— Two vehicles were involved in a wreck that happened this morning where one woman has died.
Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department Chief Brad Ellison confirmed that Latasha Maynor, 29 died in the crash.
The call came in at 9:42 am on May 7th, 2021, from West Virginia Route 54, near the Wyoming and Raleigh County line.
According to Captain Blankenship of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department, a Mustang and Ford F-150 truck with an attached trailer collided head-on. The two other passengers in the Mustang and the two occupants in the Ford were seriously injured.
None of the occupants wore a seatbelt. Everyone was transported to the nearest hospital in Beckley, WV.
