UPSHUR COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Upshur County resident is dead after a fire occurred at their home early this morning.
The fire happened at a home located in the 2000 block of Turkey Run Road near Buckhannon at around 6:20 a.m. this morning. The victim is believed to be a 54-year-old male.
The victim will be transported to the WV Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy and positive Identification. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
