FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Fayette County Commission on Wednesday accepted a proposal with regard to a location for the county probation offices as initially presented by Fayette County Circuit Court Judge, Paul Blake.
The location of the office, as proposed in the letter in question, would be across the street from the Fayette County Courthouse. This proposal would also see seven parking spaces allocated for use by those utilizing the facility.
“I move that we approve the letter to Judge Blake informing him of our acceptance of his offer on where to move the probation department,” said Commissioner Taylor during Wednesday’s Regular Session meeting of the county commission. “This is basically telling Judge Blake we agree to his suggestions, and also updating him that the building is ready for occupancy.”
Presented as the final agenda item of the session, a motion for approval of the response was seconded to bring this week’s proceedings to a close.
