FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Details regarding the upcoming meeting of the Fayette County Commission have been released, and reveal plans for discussion of ICE collaborative funding, the Ansted Sidewalk Project, and more.
The recently released agenda for the upcoming meeting of the Fayette County Commission, the first for the month of August, indicate that Coal Severance Budget revisions and a proposed dedicated-internet-access and new phone system contract with Frontier Communications will be among topics of discussion along with the Ansted Sidewalk Project and other topics.
Notably, the meeting is also expected to see the selection and appointment of an Interim Fayette County Sheriff following the news last week of Sheriff Mike Fridley’s resignation.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at 9:00am on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, with a subsequent meeting scheduled later this month for Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
