FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Danese couple is facing animal cruelty charges in Fayette County. Sheriff Mike Fridley provides the following information regarding this incident.
After receiving multiple tips from the community about suspected abandoned animals, deputies executed a search warrant at the suspected property in Danese. Within the residence, 15 dogs were found inside and outside the residents living in deplorable conditions with no food or water. The exterior of the home was also found to be in an unacceptable state.
Kenny Spade, 53, and Stacey Spade, 52, both Danese, are charged with fifteen counts of animal cruelty and one count each of illegal dump. Both will now await further court proceedings.
