FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Mount Carbon man is facing multiple felony charges in Fayette County, according to Sheriff Shannon Morris.
On September 13, 2024, deputies responded to reports of numerous burglaries in the Gauley Bridge area. Investigating the scene, they found that five fishing cabins along the river had been forcefully broken into and items stolen. Several individuals were identified as the offenders.
Today, September 26, 2024, John Middleton, 48, of Mount Carbon, was taken into custody and charged with five counts of felony Burglary, four counts of felony Grand Larceny, as well as five counts of misdemeanor Destruction of Property and Petit Larceny.
Warrants have also been obtained for two additional suspects in connection with these incidents.
