FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Fayette County man has been charged with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse by forcible compulsion in connection with alleged crimes dating back more than two decades.
According to court records, 50-year-old Jackie Scott, of Fayette County, was arrested by the West Virginia State Police on July 30, 2026.
The charges allege the offenses were committed on or about Jan. 1, 2005.
Scott is currently being held at Southern Regional Jail on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
The case remains pending in the court system, and Scott is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
