ANSTED, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Ansted man is facing felony charges in Fayette County. Sheriff Mike Fridley provides the following information regarding this incident.
At the end of 2020, detectives with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Detective’s Bureau began investigating allegations of sexual abuse. After a lengthy investigation probable cause was obtained for arrest warrants.
Shawn D Evans, 48 of Ansted, is charged with the felony offenses of Incest, Sexual Assault in the Second Degree, Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, and Sexual Abuse by a Parent, Guardian, or Person of Trust.
Evans was transported to Southern Regional Jail to await court proceedings.
