VICTOR, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Fayette County man is facing serious charges of sexual abuse.
According to a criminal complaint, an officer responded to a sexual abuse complaint involving a child at the end of July. The victim told authorities that Robert Kaylor had touched her inappropriately when she was at a younger age.
During an interview with the suspect, the suspect said his wife had a broken ankle and had trouble getting around the house during that time frame. The suspect said he would have to bathe two children but that he never touched them inappropriately.
When police spoke to the victim a second time, she gave more details about what had happened.
Kaylor is charged with first-degree sexual abuse and sexual abuse by parent, guardian, custodian, or person of trust. He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 100,000 dollar bond.
