FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Fayette County Board of Education has announced changes to the school calendar due to excessive snow days.
April 11 will now be a regular instructional day if another snow day occurs before that date.
The district’s Easter break remains scheduled for April 14-18, during which there will be no school.
April 18 is designated as a trade day for parent-teacher conferences.
On April 21, students will have the day off, while staff will participate in a professional learning day.
School officials also noted that if additional snow days are needed, they will be added to the end of the school year. As of now, the last day for students is set for May 28.
