FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A shelter-in-place order issued late Thursday afternoon in part of Fayette County has been lifted.
According to Fayette County 911, the shelter-in-place order was issued for the Wolf Creek Road and Court Street area on Thursday, May 14, 2026.
Officials did not release information about why the order was put in place.
Authorities said one person is in custody, though law enforcement has not confirmed the reason for the incident.
