FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department has reinstated its chaplain program and welcomed three new members to the team.
The department announced that Charlie Bryant, Jim Truman and Jeremy Bailey will serve as chaplains, providing support to deputies and other members of the department.
Sheriff Jess McMullen said he is excited to see the program return and thanked the volunteers for dedicating their time to helping local public servants.
“I am very excited to revive this program. It is very important to me and very important to have these volunteers available to the men and women who do this job every day,” McMullen said.
“I am very grateful to have folks like this in our communities that will dedicate their time to speak with and help out our public servants.”
The sheriff’s department invited the community to join in welcoming Bryant, Truman and Bailey to the reinstated chaplain program.
