FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Fayette County Commission is accepting applications to help property owners cover the costs of removing dilapidated structures through a grant-funded program.
Once applications are received, the county will inspect and evaluate each property to determine whether it meets the grant’s criteria for demolition assistance.

The current application period is open until October 1, 2025.
Property owners interested in applying must print, complete, and return the consent form, available here, to Angela Gerald, Fayette County Zoning Officer, by email at angela.gerald@fayettecountywv.gov.
Questions can be directed to Gerald at 304-574-4320, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Officials note that submitting a consent form does not guarantee acceptance into the demolition program.
