FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Fayetteville Town Council has approved pay raises for its town police officers and clerks at the department.
At their regular town council meeting Tuesday evening, the Fayetteville Town Council approved an extra 75 cents per hour pay raise for all town police officers and clerks.

There was no discussion among the council on the matter.
The pay raise was approved on a unanimous 6-0 vote from council members.
The pay raise takes effect from July 1, 2024.
