WINFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The FBI is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an unauthorized intrusion at the John Amos power plant in Winfield.
According to the FBI’s Pittsburgh Field Office, an unknown individual gained access to the plant’s interior on December 30, 2023, between 9:00 p.m. and 9:31 p.m.
Surveillance footage captured images of the suspect driving a late 1990s to early 2000s Jeep Cherokee.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, standing approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing between 165 and 170 pounds.
Authorities urge anyone with information about the individual or the incident to contact the FBI’s toll-free tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
