ALDERSON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The first-ever West Virginia Watermelon Festival is set to take place in Alderson.
The festival, hosted by Sunset Berry Farm in Alderson, will kick off on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
The inaugural event will feature a multitude of activities throughout the day.
Some of the activities include a Fun Zone, watermelon eating contest, fog hop contest, huge bounce pad, axe throwing, mini golf, hoop shooting, and a watermelon crawl.
The festival will run from 10 AM-5 PM.
The watermelon eating contest will take place at 1 PM, the fog hop contest at 2 PM, and the watermelon crawl at 3 PM.
