BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Local food pantry, Food for Body and Soul, has declared its commitment to serving members of the Beckley and Raleigh County communities.
As part of this ongoing mission, Food for Body and Soul hopes to act as a resource for the Beckley area by offering regular food distribution on a monthly basis along with emergency food box services also offered throughout the month.
On the third Saturday of each month, the pantry opens its doors to members of the public from 11:00am to 3:00pm to offer food distribution to those in need.
“Food for Body and Soul is committed to ensuring that no one in the community goes hungry, and they welcome anyone in need of assistance,” said the organization in a statement. “Their mission is to provide nourishment for both the body and soul, offering not only food support but also a welcoming and supportive environment for all who come through their doors.”
The pantry also offers emergency food assistance outside of the established regular distribution hours. Those interested in these services have been encouraged to contact Millie Cox at (304) 222-3726 to arrange for emergency food services.
