WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – Former President Donald Trump has announced that Gov. Jim Justice has his ‘complete and total endorsement’ in the West Virginia Republican Primary.
Trump made the announcement on his Truth Social platform Wednesday evening.Â
Gov. Justice is competing against Alex Mooney, who currently represents West Virginia’s second congressional district.
Justice is running to try to unseat current Democrat Senator Joe Manchin. Manchin has yet to announce if he will run for reflection. West Virginia overwhelmingly supported Trump in both presidential races and is a deep red state.
Republicans believe they can oust the last Democrat hold on the State, Joe Manchin.
