NICHOLAS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A former West Virginia youth pastor and his wife are facing 98 sex charges in multiple counties.
According to a criminal complaint, John Radcliff II, 57, of Nicholas County, has been charged with child sex crimes in the West Virginia counties of Braxton, Harrison, Lewis, and Nicholas.
In Lewis County, Radcliff is accused of abusing two girls at 3 and 4 years old. Both victims are related to Radcliff.
The two victims recently detailed the abuse in police interviews stating that Radcliff made them perform oral sex and other sexual acts on him.
One victim stated to police that Radcliff and his wife 52-year-old Kathy Radcliff told her and another female close in age to come into their bedroom and watch a movie.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim told police that the movie was a pornographic film with full nudity.
The victim stated that John and Kathy then began performing sexual acts on one another. The victim said she ran out of the room to hide and Kathy later came in to ask if she was okay.
Kathy has been charged in connection with this specific incident.
Other victims have come forward detailing alleged abuse by John Radcliff.
The crimes are alleged to have occurred between the years 1987 and 2003.
The couple is currently at Central Reginal Jail on multiple bonds from different counties.
John’s bond amounts are as follows:
Braxton County: $250,000 cash-only
Harrison County: $450,000 surety/cash
Lewis County: $1,000,000 cash-only
Kathy’s bond amount is as follows:
Lewis County: $75,000 cash-only
