BRAXTON COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A former youth pastor already facing nearly 100 charges across multiple West Virginia counties has been indicted again—this time in Braxton County—on new counts related to the sexual abuse of young girls.
John Radcliff, 57, of Nicholas County, now faces three counts of abuse by a parent, guardian, or custodian, three counts of incest, two counts of first-degree sexual assault, and one count of third-degree sexual assault, according to a grand jury indictment.
Radcliff’s legal troubles span several counties, including Lewis, Harrison, and Nicholas, where he was previously indicted in July for allegedly abusing multiple young girls between 1987 and 2007. Prosecutors say the victims, many of whom were related to Radcliff, were between 3 and 13 years old when the abuse occurred.
The Lewis County case has been continued until February after investigators uncovered new interviews between victims and law enforcement.
Radcliff is scheduled to be arraigned on the Braxton County charges on Tuesday, October 14, at 9 a.m.
Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing as additional evidence and testimony continue to surface.
