FAIRLEA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Four positive cases of COVID-19 have been identified at the State Fair of West Virginia.
Public health is on grounds and contact tracing was conducted immediately, according to State Fair officials. Â The Greenbrier County Health Department is working closely with the State Fair of West Virginia to quickly isolate individuals that were identified as close contacts. Cleaning and sanitization efforts have increased.
Fair officials highly recommend everyone self-monitor for symptoms and follow the recommended CDC guidelines.
- Wear a mask in indoor public settings.
- Do not come to the Fair if you are not feeling well or experiencing symptoms.
Free COVID-19 vaccines are available at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine booth under the Grandstand daily.
